GLO Marine has mobilised its Containerized Toolbox to support the execution of a major offshore engineering project at a shipyard in northwestern Spain.
The mobilisation marks the transition from engineering and project preparation to on-site execution. Over the past several months, GLO MARINE has supported the project through mechanical engineering, fabrication coordination, procurement, and installation planning, with offshore activities now entering the next stage.
Developed as a self-sufficient logistics solution, the Containerized Toolbox is designed to support the efficient delivery of complex offshore projects. It contains prefabricated steel structures, specialised tooling, installation consumables, and supporting materials required to perform onboard installation works.
For this project, the container also transports fabrication packages originating from multiple manufacturing facilities, allowing all required components to arrive on site as a single coordinated shipment. This approach simplifies logistics, improves material traceability, and supports efficient project execution.
More than 21 specialists from our team, including mechanical and electrical engineers, supervisors, and installation personnel, will support the offshore campaign. By combining engineering, fabrication, logistics, and site execution within one integrated delivery model, GLO Marine helps reduce project interfaces while improving coordination throughout the installation phase.
