Construction of the GLO Marine Technology Centre has now passed 70% completion, marking another important step towards bringing the new facility into operation.

The Technology Centre is being developed as a dedicated hub for the fabrication, assembly, and integration of skid-based and containerised modular packages for maritime, offshore, and energy applications.

These packages bring together more than the supply of individual equipment. Depending on the application, their delivery can involve mechanical and electrical engineering, automation and control systems, structural integration, fabrication, testing, and compliance requirements. Coordinating these disciplines as one integrated scope is essential to ensuring the complete system performs as intended.

The new facility will bring these activities together under one roof, connecting engineering directly with fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing. This approach will allow greater control over technical interfaces and support more efficient project execution before systems are delivered for installation on board or on site.

With construction progressing, the Technology Centre will expand the range of projects that can be delivered through an integrated engineering and execution model.

Further updates will follow as the facility moves closer to completion, including a closer look at its product lines and technical capabilities.
