We are preparing to establish a permanent operation in the Middle East, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi as our initial focus. This expansion will bring us closer to regional clients and partners, strengthening our capacity to deliver vessel upgrades, specialised drydock works and integrated marine and offshore projects.
One of our founders will relocate to the region to lead the operation, develop direct client relationships and coordinate project delivery across the UAE and wider Middle East. The move builds on our existing relationships with vessel owners and regional partners, creating a permanent local presence to support ongoing collaboration and new projects.
Our Middle East operation will focus on vessel modifications, engineering and systems integration, alongside installation and commissioning support for equipment manufacturers. This will extend our ability to support projects from technical planning through to onboard execution.
We are developing the operation in partnership with selected companies with an established track record in the region. These partnerships will provide access to local facilities, skilled technicians and tradespeople, enabling local execution from the outset, supported by our engineering and project management teams in Romania.
In this market, being present locally matters. Trust is built by spending time with clients and partners, understanding how they work and being available when decisions need to be made.
"The expansion also supports our move towards larger integrated contracts covering engineering, procurement, prefabrication, installation and commissioning. A single project team will coordinate work across disciplines and suppliers, connecting engineering decisions with regional delivery requirements.
Romania will remain our engineering and project delivery base, with our new Technology Centre in Galați adding manufacturing, electrical assembly, systems integration and testing capabilities.
Establishing a permanent Middle East operation is one of the first major steps in our growth strategy, which targets revenues of more than €50 million by 2030. Marine and offshore services will remain central to our business as we expand our international presence and take responsibility for wider project scopes.
