On the ground at Energy Tech Day

share

Romania’s energy transition is accelerating, and maintaining close alignment with industry developments has become increasingly important for companies active in this sector.

In April, part of the GLO Marine team attended Energy Tech Day 2026 in Bucharest, an event that brought together policymakers, utilities, technology providers, and investors involved in shaping the energy landscape. The discussions focused on the current stage of the transition and the practical steps required to move projects forward.

A clear conclusion from the event is that key topics such as electrification, energy storage, grid infrastructure, and integrated energy systems are no longer at a planning stage. They are active priorities, with a strong focus on implementation, scalability, and system integration.

This direction is consistent with the company’s ongoing development. Capabilities continue to expand in areas such as electrical integration, panel building, and containerised solutions, alongside broader support for energy infrastructure projects. These services are increasingly relevant as projects become more complex and require coordinated, multidisciplinary execution.

The approach remains focused on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that meet project requirements across both local and international markets. Participation in industry events such as Energy Tech Day supports this by providing direct exposure to market needs, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.

We thank Energy Industry Review for the invitation and for organizing an event that supports collaboration and knowledge exchange across the sector, and we look forward to continuing to engage in these discussions as part of GLO Marine’s ongoing involvement in the energy transition.
