Technical suitability evaluation
We start with a thorough analysis of available technical documentation and operational constraints to propose the best solution for the water ballast management system, or validate the solution chosen by our client.

Onboard survey & 3D Laser Scanning
In phase two we perform the onboard survey and 3D laser scan. Our team collaborates with the technical superintendent on the best system positioning and routing. The resulting feasibility study is a thorough assessment of the practical issues and proposed technical solutions.

Basic Design Engineering
Our design team updates all P&IDs for affected piping systems, electrical diagrams and heavy equipment foundations. The drawings are sent for client review and class approval.

Detail Design Engineering
GLO Marine applies a holistic design system to ensure optimum pipe routing while preparing the complete design package for prefabrication and successful installation.

Installation support
The BWMS is installed according to the prepared plans and drawings. Given the limited amount of time available, GLO Marine offers support (supervision) during the entire installation phase, to ensure operations are performed correctly. We also liaise with the shipyard for the best outcome and on-site solutions.
