Job summary

As a Piping & Systems Design Team Leader at GLO Marine, you’re a leader of change, driving a team that pushes maritime engineering toward new standards. You’ll coordinate all design stages (concept – basic – detail) for piping systems in retrofit and vessel upgrade projects, manage multidisciplinary teams to integrate advanced decarbonization technologies, and oversee onboard installation to ensure precise implementation. Here, you’ll have the support to innovate and make a meaningful impact in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying typical or specific knowledge and engineering principles and practices within his/her discipline;
  • Employing own technical capabilities in basic design to solve project technical issues and tasks;
  • Elaborate P&ID schemes and diagrams based on project’s requirements;
  • Coordinate and review detail engineering for implementation of diagrams;
  • Check / review own work before submitting any deliverable for internal checking process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years experience in piping design or marine engineering design environment
  • Proof of team coordination experience for minimum 4+ years
  • Good use of English language, especially industry specific terms
