Electric Pusher-Tug

Full electric pusher-tug combo designed by GLO Marine to operate within the confines of busy harbours, assisting with manoeuvring larger vessels. The maximum bollard pull capacity is 10t on 2 x 300 kW electric motors.

The vessel was designed to an operability window of 4 hours and a charging time window of only 2 hours, making use of the Triton EL Propulsion System proposed by Brunvoll. The battery system consists of 4x11 strings, of 66kWh each, yielding a total usable capacity of approximately 2,487kWh and a nominal capacity of 2,902 kWh, the total system weight being just under 16.0t with a minimum lifespan of 7 years.
