Job summary

You will be working in the design & engineering department undertaking pipe basic design activities for newbuild and retrofit / conversion projects. You will be required to apply extensive piping design principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Applying typical or specific knowledge and engineering principles and practices within his/her discipline;
• Employing own technical capabilities in basic design to solve project technical issues and tasks;
• Elaborate P&ID schemes and diagrams based on project’s requirements;
• Coordinate and review detail engineering for implementation of diagrams;
• Check / review own work before submitting any deliverable for internal checking process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years experience in piping design or marine engineering design environment
• Proof of team coordination experience for minimum 4+ years
• Good use of English language, especially industry specific terms
