Job summary
At GLO Marine, a Piping & Systems Design Engineer takes charge of designing piping systems—from concept to detailed plans—for retrofit and vessel upgrade projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate new systems and advanced technologies. Here, we’re not just creating pipes and systems; we’re shaping the future of maritime engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Applying typical or specific knowledge and engineering principles and practices within his/her discipline;
- Develop 3D models based on P&ID schemes and diagrams;
- Develop detail and production drawings;
- Applying only controlled design or engineering tools and methods (calculation spreadsheets, etc) for the execution of the assigned project activity;
- Checking / reviewing own work before submitting any deliverable for internal checking process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in piping design or marine engineering design environment
- Fully conversant with P&ID schemes and diagrams
- Good use of English language, especially industry specific terms
